Why is that when people say you should do everything at least once in life, by everything they inevitably mean either sex, drugs or booze or all three put together?
they are the few things prohibites in society...and looked down on...the are the things which excites you simply because ur doing something against society norms. but i believe, when u say u should try everything once, it also refers to things that u fear even without trying...like for me, sitting in a merry go round!!!

i did use this phrase recently, and by that i had meant cheating in semester exams :)
